The wait is finally over and very soon we will launch Stockholm Pride festival 2021! I'm involved in several different roles. Come by and say hi!
Most of the time, I will be at Pride House. This year Pride House will be again hosted by Clarion Hotel Stockholm on Ringvägen 98.
On Wednesday, August 4th at noon I will inaugurate Pride House together with Fredrik Saweståhl, my colleague from Stockholm Pride's board. The inauguration will be held in room C5. It will also be streamed live. Inauguration will be held in Swedish.
On Thursday, August 5th at 14:30 I will moderate a panel talk where we will hear about the experiences of our friends from abroad. Participants in the panel will be Lilly Dragoeva (Sofia Pride and Bilitis Foundation, Bulgaria), Jadry Kokot (Ljubljana Pride, Slovenia), Kamil Maczuga (Rzeszów Pride and Atlas of Hate, Poland), and Ákos Modolo (Szimpozion Association, Hungary). The panel talk will be held in room C19, and it will also be streamed live. This panel will be held in English.
On Saturday, August 7th at noon, I will host a talk with Patrik Forslin from Bosse Råd-, Stöd- och Kunskapscenter. We will talk about the experiences of LGBTQ people with disabilities, and Patrik will also tell us about the project on LGBTQ people with disabilities during the pandemic, which was conducted at Bosse last autumn and winter. The talk will be held in room C19, and it will also be streamed live. This talk will be held in Swedish.
